Here’s a fun craft to make with your kids to capture one of their favorite summer memories. With this craft, kids can make a camera from various scrapbook paper or construction paper and place their favorite photo of their summer memory on it. The great thing about this craft project is that kids of all ages can make these. This is perfect for kids Kindergarten through sixth grade.
Here’s What You Need:
- Cereal Box
- Scrapbooking paper
- Camera template (Here)
- Modge Podge and Brush
Step 1: Print out camera template
Step 1: Print out the camera template. Cut out a cereal box into the shape of the camera body using the template.
Step 2: Modge podge the main scrapbooking paper to the cardboard camera shaped cutout.
Step 3: Use the center ring of the template to cut out your second circle of scrapbook paper. Modge podge it in place. Add flash detail and also modge podge it in place.
Step 4: Use the same center ring from the template as a cropping window. Cut your photo to size and modge pode it in place.
Step 5: Using template, locate and punch holes for camera strap ribbon. Pull it through from the back, tie a knot near the end and repeat for the other side.
There you have it! Fun, simple, and easy to create with a little recycling included too. Your kids will love it.
