Are you looking for a quick and easy Valentine’s Day wreath? Here is a very simple one to create in very little time.
Here’s what you will need:
- 5 to 6 yards of Red Tulle
- Red Paint and Paint Brush (Optional)
- Dollar Store Package Of Red Heart Decorations
- Hot Glue Gun
- Ribbon to Hang the Wreath
I found my tulle at JoAnn’s and used a 50% off coupon. I purchased the mdf wreath at Michael’s and used a 40% off coupon. Got to love coupons!
Next, I painted the mdf board red. Any craft paint will work. I didn’t want to take the chance of seeing any of the brown through the tulle. You could eliminate this step as long as you cut enough strips of tulle to wrap around the wreath.
Start by folding the tulle in half, twice,to get more strips when you are cutting the tulle and to save time. Cut roughly 1″ strips the entire width of the tulle. You don’t have to measure. I just eye balled this.
Fold your strips in half and place over the wreath. Wrap the ends around the wreath and pull through the opening. Pull taught.
Repeat this step till you have tulle all the way around the wreath.
Take Dollar Store hearts and hot glue them to the wreath. Tie a ribbon at the top and you are set. There you have a quick and inexpensive wreath in no time.
Did I mention cute too?
