Here’s a super fun and easy project to use up all of those plastic Easter eggs that you may have laying around your house. Make these 5 minute Weebles with just a few supplies with your kids. They will love these.
It seems like every year at Easter we keep accumulating more and more plastic Easter eggs. I’m always trying to brainstorm what to do with the plastic eggs so they don’t end up in the garbage. This year I came up with these cute Bunny and Chick Weebles that literally take five minutes to make. My daughter just thought they were the cutest and couldn’t stop playing with them. Let’s see just how quick and easy these fun Weebles are.
Plastic Easter Eggs
- Play Dough or Salt Dough
- Sharpie Markers
Step 1: Gather up all of those plastic Easter eggs.
Step 2: Put a little wad of Play Dough in the bottom of the egg. Close up the egg. If you are worried about your toddler opening up the Easter egg, you can put a little Super Glue around the edges.
Step 3: Draw a little bunny face or chick face on the eggs with Sharpie markers.
If you find that your Play Dough isn’t sticking to the bottom inside of the egg, just open it open and give the Play Dough a firm push back down into the bottom of the egg. Also, if you find that your Play Dough dries up (which we have) just put a new piece into the egg. If you don’t have any more Play Dough, use a hot glue gun and glue the dried up piece into the bottom.
My daughter absolutely LOVED this project. She had so much fun playing with these when we had finished making them. Plus, they’re are so many possibilities of different animals or funny faces that you could make.
